OOTD: Singapore - Malaysia

I admit, I do tend to overthink, not to mention OVERPACK my stuff every single time I travel. This time, the trip was a little extra special because one: it's abroad and two: I spent my birthday there. Click here to see details about the whole trip!

YES, I did give a lot of thought into the outfits. The excitement is probably because of the fact that I won't be able to have the opportunity to wear certain clothes in the Philippines because people think they're odd or inappropriate. If you're in another place especially abroad, you are faced with a different culture and you get to see different styles. Out there, no one's going to judge you because they don't know you.

So without further ado, here are my OOTWs!

DAY 1 (August 21, 2013)

We were pretty much traveling on the first day and I was thinking of comfort with a little style thus the boots. I was feeling REALLY awkward at the airports both in DZR and NAIA because I think I was the only one wearing boots but what the heck!? HAHA. I kept asking my mom if I looked weird and inappropriate but she kept assuring me that is wasn't.

A loose and comfy tank + skinny jeans + boots

I love this pair because it's flat and it's neutral so I can match it with many color combos

Day 2 (August 22, 2013)

We were supposed to arrive at Singapore early that morning but we weren't able to catch our flight so we were rebooked. We already had pre-booked tickets for Legoland so we had no time to waste. I didn't even take a bath. I just washed my face and changed my tank then we headed to the bus station for our trip to Legoland.

I am wearing pretty much the same things

I just replaced my tank

Same boots, but it actually broke toward the end of the day, sad

Day 3 (August 23, 2013)

We spent the whole day at the Universal Studios Singapore in Sentosa Island. It was a theme park so I opted to wear a really comfortable ensemble.

The same tank from the first day with a different color + a pair of shorts

I also brought a cardigan with me just in case

My trusty red Keds and a huge black Long Champ bag I borrowed from my mom

Because I love the shot, I just had to include this photo

Day 4 (August 24, 2013)

This day was spent in Genting Highlands, Malaysia and just when you think we've had enough, we went inside yet another theme park! I know you might wonder if this dress plus the heels were uncomfortable, I'd say a little but not enough to ruin my day. I was loving the outfit really. I featured this ensemble on my first Thrift Finds.

I added my dad's souvenir cap from USS and a really cute coat I thrifted a few days before the trip

This was the first time I've ever worn this pair of shoes and it was great!

Can you tell how happy I was with the outfit? HAHA!

Day 5 (August 25, 2013)

This was probably the worst outfit for me. I just felt awkward and short! I only had a few good pictures.

Here, I was still wearing the vest but it was too heavy so I had to take it off!

This is me with my beautiful and tall cousin. YES, she is younger than me!

Day 6 & 7 (August 26-27, 2013)

I spent my birthday traveling. It was a little uncomfortable to wear a loose dress and walk around the airport with all the luggage and stuff but I managed to survive. I also wore the same things for more than 24 hours. Haha.

This coat was definitely a STAPLE

I got this dress online

This pair of shoes was another favorite + my mom's bag from Guess

That wraps up everything! A haul post is coming up soon so keep posted! :) For any comments, questions and/or suggestions, feel free to contact me!
